Jan 1975 Salisbury Insurance Brokers (SIB) starts operations in Caringbah, Sutherland Shire, south of Sydney
1977 Joins Insurance Brokers Association (IBA) which later becomes NIBA.
1982 National Insurance Brokers Association of Australia (NIBA) formed. Brian Salisbury becomes QPIB and Foundation Member of NIBA (FNIBA)
1989 Moves to new offices in Gibbs Street, Miranda, Sutherland Shire, south of Sydney where it remains today.
1992 Tom Payne joins to form Salisbury Payne Insurance Brokers.
1997 Salisbury Payne Tinslay formed through acquisition/merger of Tinslay and Hollyman Insurance Brokers.
1997 Joins Broking Cluster Group IBNA.
2000 Acquires Heppell & Young Insurance Brokers
2002 Becomes member of International Broking Group (IBA - later UNIBA) and forms Australian and New Zealand membership.
2004 Acquires IBS Broking Services (Dee Why)
2005 Public Company, Austbrokers Holdings Ltd becomes equity partner and Salisbury Payne Tinslay Pty Ltd commences trading as Austbrokers SPT.
2008 Tom Payne (Director) retires.
2011 Phil Tinslay (Director) retires.
2011 Brian Salisbury awarded UNIBA Alan Sutton Award for Service Excellence.
2013 Arthur Kinnas takes up partnership after progressing through SPT for 10 years.
2013 Brian Salisbury appointed Director of UNIBA, responsible for ASIA Pacific region.
Jan 2015 SPT recognises 40 years in business.
